The beauty of a cocoa pod, cut in half.
The Brief
Méing works with an international team of chocolatiers who care about every small detail. The brand had to promise that same craft before the box was even opened.
The Idea
We looked inside the raw ingredient. A cocoa fruit split open reveals a four-petal symmetry that became the emblem. Copper foil, toffee-brown board and a soft serif turn each box into a keepsake rather than a wrapper.
The Outcome
A packaging system with the presence of a jeweller, made for gifting and for the shelf alike.
Identity in application
Copper on cocoa-brown board, soft serif letters and boxes that open like a ritual. Each piece is treated as a gift before it is treated as packaging.
